Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. On his way into the ring it seems that Alistair Overeem has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alistair Overeem seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a nice hook to Overeem's body. Overeem takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alistair Overeem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overeem looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
Overeem throws a lazy uppercut
and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Overeem swings widly with a right hand
and Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Overeem lands a two punch combo.
Overeem misses with a hook
letting Silva counter with a right hand.
Silva scores with a body shot.
Overeem throws a right hand that misses
and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva connects with a body shot that sends Overeem's belly button to the back.
Overeem throws a sloppy body shot
and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Overeem throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva throws a jab when Overeem was well out of range.
Silva throws the left hand but Overeem avoids the punch easily.
Silva avoids the head kick by Overeem.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Overeem moves away.
Overeem has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Overeem there as he acknowledges the shot.
Overeem throws a lazy uppercut
and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

A low kick from Overeem misses
and Silva counters with a stiff right hand.
Silva connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Overeem is rocked!
Silva lands a slapping body shot.
Silva jabs Overeem to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Overeem is breathing heavily.
Silva lands with a right hand.
Oh Overeem is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Overeem is looking to close the distance but Silva sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Overeem crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Overeem is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
