Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Kemmerling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deuce Lowhanger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowhanger lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Lowhanger throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lowhanger throws a hook to the side of Kemmerling's head but Kemmerling sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kemmerling shoots in for a takedown but Lowhanger shows good takedown defense.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kemmerling.
Kemmerling changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lowhanger tries to avoid it but Kemmerling manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lowhanger to the ground. Lowhanger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Kemmerling. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kemmerling closes the distance and clinches up with Lowhanger, looking for a takedown. Kemmerling pushes Lowhanger against the cage but Lowhanger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kemmerling thows a huge punch but Lowhanger dodges it nicely.

Lowhanger is not content to let Kemmerling control the position.
Lowhanger keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Kemmerling seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lowhanger does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kemmerling looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lowhanger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kemmerling with the ground and pound but Lowhanger uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Kemmerling pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lowhanger is keeping the position for now.
Lowhanger wants to stand but Kemmerling is controlling the position.
Lowhanger utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kemmerling won't allow Lowhanger to get back to his feet.
Kemmerling lands a couple of digs.
Kemmerling wants to control from the top but Lowhanger keeps moving.
Kemmerling throws a strike but Lowhanger rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lowhanger won't allow Kemmerling to sweep him here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lowhanger trying to control but Kemmerling is working from the bottom.
Kemmerling looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lowhanger has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kemmerling is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kemmerling is on top in guard.
Kemmerling throws a big right hand that misses.

Kemmerling takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lowhanger is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lowhanger lands a left and a right that send Kemmerling crashing to the mat, dazed. Lowhanger thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kemmerling is rocked!
Lowhanger flashes Kemmerling a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Kemmerling's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Kemmerling crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Lowhanger punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
