Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Ferrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy comes to the cage accompanied by Mother. Ferrall is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Domination by Pantera. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mr Guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Scott Ferrall!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ferrall throws a body punch but Guy moves out of range.
Ferrall throws a nice looking combination but Guy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ferrall works Guy's body with a nice hook.
The crowd cheers as Ferrall lands an impressive looking overhand right. Guy doesn't seem phased though.
Ferrall is looking to clinch but Guy is avoiding it.
Ferrall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Guy throws out a loose jab but Ferrall uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ferrall drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ferrall lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Guy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ferrall missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Guy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Guy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Guy wants to sweep here but Ferrall controlling him for the moment.

Guy is trying to control the position but Ferrall postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ferrall is aware though and is defending well.

Ferrall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ferrall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ferrall is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Guy has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ferrall creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Ferrall lands a few punches from side control.
Ferrall lands a nice forearm strike.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ferrall grinds an elbow into Guy's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Guy avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ferrall.
Guy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott Ferrall dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Ferrall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Guy.
Guy fails to land with a series of punches.
Guy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ferrall counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ferrall lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Some wild striking there from Guy.
A lazy left from Ferrall finds it's target.
Guy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Guy takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Guy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Guy there as he acknowledges the shot.
Guy tries to bum rush Ferrall with a series of wild strikes but Ferrall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ferrall.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferrall lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Guy down.
Guy on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Ferrall creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Check out the look on Ferrall's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ferrall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Guy to the mat! Guy manages to get full guard.
Ferrall wants to control from the top but Guy keeps moving.

Guy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ferrall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ferrall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ferrall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Mr Guy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ferrall drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ferrall as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Guy screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ferrall! Nice submission victory there!
