The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Smith Wesson has been cut.
Gattuso throws a right and a left that Wesson avoids nicely.

Gattuso gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wesson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wesson tries to free his leg and advance position but Gattuso is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gattuso has an active guard here but Wesson has managed to pass into half guard.
Wesson wants to free his trapped foot but Gattuso is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Gattuso is refusing to be controlled, as Wesson sits in half guard.
Wesson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Wesson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Gattuso kicks Wesson off and gets back to his feet.
Gattuso moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wesson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gattuso but Gattuso pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wesson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gattuso. That one must have hurt.
Wesson is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gattuso lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wesson slips a jab and a cross from Gattuso.
Gattuso Rushes Wesson and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Wesson is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Gattuso Piles on the pressure and Wesson crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
