The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch there but Robles circles away.
Robles swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Robles swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Silva is looking to clinch but Robles is avoiding it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Robles closes the distance and clinches.
Robles can't find room to land a body shot as Silva controls the action.
Silva is looking to break free of the clinch but Robles has double underhooks.

Robles has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Silva uses from the top position.
Silva is looking to stand up but Robles won't let him.

Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Robles escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Robles's guard.

Robles working for a triangle but Silva defends it easily.

Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silva wants to control from the top but Robles keeps moving.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Robles works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Silva pushes down on Robles's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Silva is looking for a kimura but Robles is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage.
Robles is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Silva thows a huge punch but Robles dodges it nicely.
