PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bart Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Transplants - Romper Stomper kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green has a takedown stuffed.
Green is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Green tries for a takedown but Griffin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Griffin slips a jab from Green.
Green shoots for a double leg takedown but Griffin sprawls well. He's pushed Green's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bart Griffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Green.
Green ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Griffin moves away.

Green moves into range and clinches up with Griffin.

Griffin has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Green should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Griffin has tightened it up now! Green should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
