The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Svardet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Svardet enables Nakarainen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Svardet manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Nakarainen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Nakarainen tries to free his leg and advance position but Svardet is retaining full guard.
Svardet is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Svardet is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nakarainen looking to pass the guard.
Nakarainen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Nakarainen trying to control but Svardet is working from the bottom.
Nakarainen advances to half guard.
Nakarainen wants to take a breather but Svardet is having none of it.
Nakarainen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Svardet loads up on a big right hand but Nakarainen slips the punch.
Svardet throws a good cross that connects.
Nakarainen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Svardet looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nakarainen works to advance to full mount. Svardet defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Svardet prevents Nakarainen from taking his back.
Nakarainen is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Svardet is in real trouble.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nakarainen is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Svardet with him. Svardet is trying to defend but Nakarainen has an arm under the chin now! Svardet grimaces and is forced to tap out!
