Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Linx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Linx has chosen Hellbillies - Ei Krasafaren Steinbu as his entrance music. Charlie Linx has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Linx!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linx lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.


It looks like William Harrison has been cut.
Linx swats away the attempt to clinch by Harrison.

Harrison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Harrison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Harrison looking to control but Linx is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Linx keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Linx tries to hold on but Harrison postures up.
Linx is squirming around, avoiding Harrison's attempts to control the action.
Linx is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Harrison wants to control the pace but Linx is squirming around nicely.

Harrison looking for a guillotine from mount but Linx is having none of it.
Poor strikes thrown by Harrison there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Linx is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Linx can do anything to dispel that myth.
Harrison trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Harrison punching from mount but Linx doing a good job of avoiding damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Linx wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Harrison.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that William Harrison will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Linx missing with a left hand there. Harrison was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Linx drops Harrison with a big left hand and mounts him. Harrison is in big trouble!


Harrison is rocked!
Harrison wants to control but Linx is having none of it.
Oh Harrison is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harrison really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Harrison seems to have got his legs back now.

Linx gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Harrison fails with a takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Linx stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Linx throws a right and a left that Harrison avoids nicely.
Harrison shoots in for a double leg but Linx sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Linx pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Linx scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Harrison on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


William Harrison's cut is getting worse.
Harrison bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Linx comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Harrison falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Harrison was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Charlie Linx!
