Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva connects with a crisp jab.
Alves throws a head kick that misses.
Silva darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Alves fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.
Alves throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva lands a lovely overhand right.
Silva throws a quick inside leg kick.
Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alves fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silva is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
A head kick lands from Silva that sends Alves to the canvas. Alves tries to scramble back to his feet but Silva brings him back down into side control.
Alves is rocked!
It looks like Edmundo Alves has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva stands up and beckons Alves to his feet.
Silva connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Oh Alves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva catches Alves napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Alves to the canvas!
Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Alves seems to have got his legs back now.
Silva decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Look low, kick high! Silva uses the oldest trick in the book to send Alves tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Silva is absolutely delighted - when Alves wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
