Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Myrney enables Hood to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Myrney manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hood trying to control but Myrney is working from the bottom.
Hood sitting in guard here, content to control.
Hood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Myrney is looking for a triangle but Hood pushes his legs off easily.
Myrney punching from the bottom - just letting Hood know he's still in a fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hood is working Myrney over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hood controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hood trying to control the position from guard on top but Myrney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hood is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hood pushes down on Myrney's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Myrney holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Hood trying to control from half guard but Myrney is working away.

Hood looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Myrney is looking to improve his position.

Hood is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Myrney is just riding it out for now. Hood eventually gives up the hold.

Myrney is looking for a sweep. Hood is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Still in half guard, Hood seems content to control.
Myrney wants to improve his position but Hood is controlling well.
Hood seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Hood is trying to control the action in half guard but Myrney is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hood moves nicely into side control.

Myrney is letting Hood control him for a moment.

Hood is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Myrney knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Myrney's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Myrney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Myrney is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hood's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Hood! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Myrney has tapped! This one is allllll over!
