The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice sprawl there from S as Williams shoots in.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Williams.
S throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
S wants to clinch.
Williams fails to land the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

S is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Williams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Williams takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

S shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Williams's guard.
S looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Williams throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! S escapes and throws Williams's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Williams is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. S defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Williams keeps control of the position easily here as S tries to buck him off.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
S rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
S wants to control but Williams is keeping busy.

S is trying to control but Williams passes into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
S is trying to get back to half guard.
Williams takes a little break here. S wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tank S dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


S tries to clinch up but Williams circles away and keeps his distance.
Williams has his takedown stuffed

and S counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Williams's guard now.
S works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Williams keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Williams moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Williams wants to sweep but no luck.
Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Williams wants to stand and escape but S is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

S should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Williams is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

S stands up from Williams's guard - S perhaps looking for a knockout.
Williams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
S will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A cross from Williams lands.


S is rocked!


It looks like Tank S has been cut.
S avoids the head kick by Williams.
S is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?
S fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Williams lands a nice looking body kick.

S fails with an attempt to clinch.
Williams lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and S falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
