Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mauricio Lombardi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Oddi!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombardi tries to clinch up but Oddi circles away and keeps his distance.
Oddi swats away the attempt to clinch by Lombardi.
Lombardi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oddi scores with a hook.
Oddi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lombardi's guard.
Lombardi throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Oddi drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Oddi seems to have locked his on tight now - Lombardi screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Oddi, as he picks up the win!
