Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Sorvino!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sorvino shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Faded manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sorvino drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Faded manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sorvino has Faded in his guard.

Faded feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Sorvino counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Faded!

Sorvino swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Faded is now in Sorvino's guard. A big mistake from Sorvino there, giving up the dominant position!

Sorvino drops back looking for a leg! Faded is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Faded manages to kick Sorvino off! Sorvino jumps back into Faded's guard.

Sorvino working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Faded doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Faded manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Faded got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sorvino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Faded has managed to get both his arms back between Sorvino's legs - danger averted.

Oh but Sorvino is tightening it up a little... Faded has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Faded reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Faded taps out! nice BJJ there by Sorvino!
