Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Semki Est (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Hamilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hamilton's choice of entrance music: Till I Collapse. Semki Est could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Keith Hamilton's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Semki Est!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keith Hamilton!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Est closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hamilton to the mat! Hamilton manages to get full guard.
Est tries to free his leg and advance position but Hamilton is retaining full guard.

Est postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hamilton is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Est, into his guard.

Est had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hamilton defends it easily.
Hamilton passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Est is looking to regain half guard here but Hamilton keeps moving and retains side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hamilton moves into full mount!
Hamilton avoids the attempt from Est to control.
Est is wriggling around trying to escape.
Est tries to hold on but Hamilton pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Est regains half guard.

Est looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Est is trying to control but can't.
Est makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Est.

Est looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hamilton passes into half guard.
Est wants to get back to full guard.
Est is breathing heavily.

Hamilton is keen to just control but Est is a slippery customer.
Hamilton is looking to advance position but Est won't allow it.
Est tries to roll over but Hamilton keeps him under control.
Hamilton trying to pass the guard but Est defending well.

Est looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Est looking for a kimura from the bottom but Hamilton passes into side control!
You can see the frustration on Est's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Est looks to move to half guard but instead Hamilton has passed into mount! Damn!
Est tries to hold on but Hamilton postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Semki Est will probably get the nod.
That's time! Est's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Hamilton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Est's guard.
Est wants to sweep here but Hamilton controlling him for the moment.
Hamilton wants to control from the top but Est keeps moving.
Est working a defensive guard here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Est looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hamilton puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Est wants to control but Hamilton passes into side.

Est is trying to improve his position.
Est is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hamilton is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Est is desperately trying to improve his position but Hamilton has a good base and remains in mount.
Est looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Est trying to control the action but Hamilton just sinks the hooks in.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hamilton controlling from the back.
Est tries to escape the position.
Hamilton controlling the position well here. Est rolled but Hamilton kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
You can see the frustration on Est's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Hamilton tries to get the hooks in deep but Est pushed the leg off.
Est is trying to break free.
Hamilton is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hamilton is looking to control Est but Est is wriggling around and keeping busy.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Keith Hamilton wasn't active enough on the ground.
Est with a lazy takedown attempt

and Hamilton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Est's guard now.

Est is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Est throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hamilton escapes and throws Est's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Est wants to control but Hamilton postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keith Hamilton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Est's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Hamilton decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hamilton trying to control from half guard but Est is working away.
Est trying to hold on to Hamilton's head to control him but Hamilton postures up.
Est keeping control of the position.
Est trying to get back to full guard but Hamilton takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Est is trying desperately to improve position.
Keith Hamilton has got the better of the ground game so far.
Est wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Est is looking to improve his position but Hamilton isn't that keen on the idea.
Est is squirming around, avoiding Hamilton's attempts to control the action.
Est is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hamilton wants to control the pace but Est is squirming around nicely.
Est is just holding on here. Hamilton manages to take his back.

Hamilton tries to get the hooks in deep but Est pushed the leg off.
I really don't envy Est right now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Est is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Hamilton.
Hamilton has the hooks in. Est is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hamilton slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Est trying to control the position but Hamilton manages to sink in the hooks.

Keith Hamilton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hamilton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
