The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McIntyre is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Krow fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

McIntyre drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Krow has a closed guard, preventing McIntyre from standing up.
McIntyre throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Krow works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Krow is on top in guard.
McIntyre controls Krow momentarily but Krow frees himself.

Krow loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Krow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

McIntyre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Krow postures up and lands a big shot to McIntyre's brow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krow wants to control from the top but McIntyre keeps moving.

McIntyre throws his legs up looking for a submission but Krow uses it to pass to side control.
