Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tymon Gorski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Blast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blast is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Goldfinger - Superman. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Tim Blast enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tymon Gorski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Blast!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Blast as he connects with a hook.
Gorski throws out a loose jab but Blast uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blast's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Blast duly obliges.
Gorski smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gorski swings for the body but Blast moves out of range.
Gorski avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gorski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gorski buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Blast.
Gorski throws a head kick but Blast moves out of range.

Blast lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Gorski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Gorski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blast does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gorski is taking a breather. Blast says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Gorski is working for a kimura but Blast is defending it quite comfortably.

Gorski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blast is just riding it out for now. Gorski eventually gives up the hold.

Gorski has gone for a leg lock! Blast slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gorski's guard.

Gorski is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blast accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Blast is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Blast pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gorski is keeping the position for now.
Gorski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blast's guard.

Gorski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blast swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tymon Gorski will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gorski shoots for a takedown but Blast saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
