Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Anfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ardel Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anfield kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ecuador. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anfield seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dixon for as long as he can get away with.

We're going to have a standup here because Johnny Anfield wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Dixon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Anfield throws a hook to the side of Dixon's head but Dixon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Anfield closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dixon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anfield. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ardel Dixon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ardel Dixon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
