Medvedov moves into the clinch.
Cop drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Medvedov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Medvedov tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Cop has Medvedov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Medvedov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Cop tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksei Cop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cop ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cop no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Medvedov content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Cop has locked up a guillotine! Cop's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Medvedov is holding on here and Cop must be using up a lot of energy. Medvedov has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Cop gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
