Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tore Bross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Kirby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bross comes to the cage accompanied by Straight Outta Compton. Paddy Kirby has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bross scores with a jab. Kirby acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kirby closes the distance and clinches up with Bross, looking for a takedown. Kirby pushes Bross against the cage but Bross circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Bross as Kirby shoots in.
Kirby circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kirby fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tore Bross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paddy Kirby.
Bross is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bross looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Kirby counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Bross closes the distance but Kirby moves to the side

and Kirby counters by clinching up.

Kirby pulls guard successfully.
Bross won't allow Kirby to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bross wants to control from the top but Kirby keeps moving.
Bross slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kirby can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bross swings around for an armbar but Kirby sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bross's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bross is breathing heavily.
Bross keeping full guard, as Kirby tries to pass.

Kirby missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kirby controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Bross manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kirby working to try and regain half guard.
Kirby tries to lock up and control but Bross gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kirby holds of for dear life.
Kirby is desperately trying to improve his position but Bross has a good base and remains in mount.
Kirby really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bross. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bross working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Kirby is wriggling around trying to escape.

Bross goes for an armbar but Kirby turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kirby.
Kirby is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Kirby avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bross working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kirby doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kirby manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bross had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kirby is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bross Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kirby's back instead.
Kirby is trying to break free.

Bross looking for the choke but no joy.

Kirby defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
Kirby stopping the sweep attempt from Bross.
Bross bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kirby's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kirby is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bross passes Kirby's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Bross moves nicely into side control.

Bross tries for a kimura but Kirby is defending well.
Bross in the domination position with Kirby hanging on.
Kirby is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bross off and has taken his back!
Kirby throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Bross!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bross tries to roll but Kirby sticks to his back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Kirby controlling the positon.
Bross is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tore Bross dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kirby doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bross counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Kirby breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kirby takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Bross gets the takedown into side control.
Bross wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kirby keeps working.

Bross is working to tighten is grip on Kirby's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kirby has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bross is really squeezing tight and eventually Kirby passes out! Bross breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Tore Bross!
