The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pattenson wants to clinch up but Zadkiel keeps it at a distance.
Pattenson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Pattenson counters with a shoot takedown. Zadkiel fights it but they end up in guard.
Pattenson wants to stand and escape but instead Zadkiel has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Pattenson is striking from the bottom but Zadkiel uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

It looks like Zadkiel is going to stand back up.
Pattenson wants to improve his position but Zadkiel is controlling well.
