Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, When Will They Shoot. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith throws a combination. Oliveira tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Oliveira backs up against the cage.
Oliveira dodges the punch combination from Smith.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smith as he jumps to the side.
Smith leaves Oliveira with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Oliveira swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Oliveira takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oliveira closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Oliveira pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Oliveira moves forwards but Smith connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Oliveira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Smith gets to his feet. Oliveira looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Oliveira gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Oliveira working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Smith has passed into half guard!

Smith scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Smith has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
