Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
apples waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Silakka.
apples misses with a jab, cross combination.

Silakka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silakka cracks apples with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Silakka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from apples.
Silakka defending well as apples loads up on a big left hand.
apples scores with a nice strike.
apples's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and apples duly obliges.
apples loads up on a big right hand but Silakka slips the punch.
Silakka moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Silakka uses good head movement to avoid the hook from apples.

Silakka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but apples swivels and escapes.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Silakka. apples shrugs it off though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silakka is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but apples is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

apples tries to buck Silakka off but Silakka is having none of it.

Silakka throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and apples works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Silakka wants to free his trapped foot but apples is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Silakka moves into full mount! apples won't be happy about that!

apples wants to control but Silakka is having none of it.
Silakka lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Silakka looking to secure an arm triangle but apples defends it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silakka lands a big shot there that rocks apples but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
apples connects with a jab.
apples throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silakka sees it coming and avoids it easily.
apples misses the jab.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by apples!
apples lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
apples misses with a hook.
apples throws a big shot that misses.
Silakka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
apples misses the shot to the body.
apples takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Silakka lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Oh apples is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silakka avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Silakka lands a hook that stumbles apples back into the cage. Silakka follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping apples to the canvas! Silakka pounces and lands several unanswered shots - apples has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
