PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake's entrance music is Blitzkrieg Bop. A fine choice. Storm has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm throws a wild body kick that Drake sees coming a mile off.

Drake tries to bum rush Storm with a series of wild strikes but Storm uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Drake fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Storm looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Drake throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Storm makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Storm drops Drake with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Drake looks back up at him and smiles so Storm waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drake thuds his right hand into Storm's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Storm lands with a big right hook that stumbles Drake - he's out on his feet here! Storm follows up with another monster hook that separates Drake from consciousness! Drake falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Storm stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
