Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Burza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Khan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan tries a head kick but it misses.
Khan is looking to land body kicks.
Khan throws a sloppy head kick and Burza moves out of range easily.
Khan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Burza's head.
Khan throws a head kick but Burza moves out of range.
Khan tries to land a front kick but Burza steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Khan misses with a body kick.
Khan throws a leg kick but Burza sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Khan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Nice uppercut lands for Burza. That snapped Khan's head back.
Burza lands a nice shot to the body.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Khan.
Burza lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Burza takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Burza lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Khan sprawling to the canvas. Burza follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Khan hang on?
It looks like Mike Khan has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Still in half guard, Burza seems content to control.

Burza's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Khan is looking for a sweep. Burza is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of John Burza.
Khan throws a head kick that misses.

Burza feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Khans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Khan looks gassed!

Burza throws a series of strikes that have Khan backpedaling.
Burza lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Khan sprawling to the canvas. Burza follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Khan hang on?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burza looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Burza is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Khan!
Burza takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Khan wants to control but Burza is having none of it.

Burza tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. John Burza wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Khan throws a head kick that misses.
Khan scores with a kick to the midsection.
Burza takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Khan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Khan looks to land a body kick but Burza moved away.
Burza checks a leg kick.
Khan takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Khan throws the kick towards the body but Burza avoids it.

Burza throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Khan - that will leave a mark!
Burza is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Burza sizes up Khan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Burza cracks a nice hook into Khan's ribs.
Burza scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Burza dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mike Khan's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Khan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Burza stuns Khan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Khan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Khan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A punch lands to the side of Khan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Khan misses with a body kick.
Khan walks into a left hand.
Khan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Khan throws a wild body kick that Burza sees coming a mile off.
Burza lands a really nice looking cross but Khan seems unphased.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Burza lands with a good body shot.
Khan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Burza is out of range and Khan settles back down.
Burza scores with a jab.
Khan is breathing heavily.
Burza lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Khan backs up against the cage.
Burza lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Khan sprawling to the canvas. Burza follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Khan hang on?
Khan is rocked!
Burza passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Khan!
Khan is still in real trouble! Can Burza finish him?

Burza tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Khan seems to have recovered his senses.
Burza has control of Khan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Khan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Burza is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Khan can do to turn this around?
Burza content just to control the position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khan tries to improve his position but Burza has taken his back! Burza has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Khan tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Burza pushes Khan away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
