The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Whealen with that takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Whealen is defended easily by Gronkowski.
Whealen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Gronkowski sizes up Whealen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Gronkowski circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Whealen to the canvas! Whealen doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Gronkowski keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
