The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFillin shoots for a double leg takedown but Hudson sprawls well. He's pushed McFillin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hudson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McFillin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hudson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

McFillin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hudson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hudson got a little sloppy there for a moment and McFillin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hudson has managed to get both his arms back between McFillin's legs - danger averted.

McFillin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hudson defends it easily.

Hudson drops back looking for a leg! McFillin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McFillin manages to kick Hudson off! Hudson jumps back into McFillin's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Saul Hudson will probably get the nod.
