The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vasilevsky tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.

Vasilevsky has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Silva regains guard immediately.
Vasilevsky content to stall in guard here.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vasilevsky is controlling him.

Vasilevsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vasilevsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Vasilevsky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Vasilevsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vasilevsky is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Leonid Vasilevsky just wasn't active enough.
Vasilevsky looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well.

Vasilevsky is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Silva is trying to escape and Vasilevsky transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Vasilevsky! Very nice indeed!
