The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Machado changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Goldberg looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Machado moves into full mount!
Goldberg is trying to escape the mount.
Machado is working for a guillotine from mount but Goldberg frees his head quite easily.
Machado is looking to work his way around to Goldberg's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Machado looking to control but Goldberg is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Machado takes Goldberg's back.
Goldberg can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machado is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Goldberg has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Machado has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Goldberg taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Machado doesn't care though - he's delighted!
