The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johannsen tries a head kick but it misses.
Weezer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Weezer shoots in and bounces Johannsen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Johannsen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Weezer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Johannsen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Weezer has Johannsen in his guard.

Weezer pushes Johannsen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Johannsen fails to land with a series of punches.

Weezer drops Johannsen with a left right combo! Weezer follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Ryan Johannsen has been cut.

Weezer in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Johannsen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Weezer stands up and beckons Johannsen to his feet.
Johannsen pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Weezer is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Johannsen's half guard.

Weezer tries to bum rush Johannsen with a series of wild strikes but Johannsen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Weezer lands with an overhand left.

Weezer feints and as Johannsen raises his hands in defense, Weezer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Weezer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Weezer stays in close to Johannsen's body and controls the position.

Johannsen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Weezer!

Johannsen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Weezer turns into him and now he's in Johannsen's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Weezer is squirming around, avoiding Johannsen's attempts to control the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Johannsen tries to clinch but Weezer is having none of it.

Weezer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johannsen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Weezer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johannsen sprawls well. Johannsen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Weezer gets slowly back to his feet.
Johannsen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Nice combo by Weezer! Oh, that's hurt him - Johannsen falls to the canvas and Weezer follows him into side control.
Johannsen is still in real trouble! Can Weezer finish him?

Weezer in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Johannsen looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Weezer turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
