The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa tries to bum rush Reed with a series of wild strikes but Reed uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Reed on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Allen Reed has been cut.
Balboa looks to land a combination but Reed avoids it well.
No luck for Reed with that takedown attempt.
Reed misses with a leg kick.

Balboa cracks Reed with a good jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reed takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A big left from Reed misses.
Reed takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Balboa connects with a stiff jab that staggers Reed - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
