Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ilpo Larha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Slate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slate has chosen Some song he made last night as his entrance music. Ilpo Larha has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slate takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Larha tries to close the distance and clinch but Slate swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Slate lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Slate throws a hook but Larha blocks it.
Slate looks to land a left hand but Larha moved out of range nicely.
Larha moves out of range as Slate strikes.
Larha keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Slate.
Larha shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Slate as he avoids it easily.
Larha tries to clinch up but Slate circles away and keeps his distance.

Larha moves into the clinch successfully.
Slate tries to break free but Larha pushes him back against the cage.
Slate can't find room to land a body shot as Larha controls the action.
Larha tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Slate lands a body shot in the clinch.
Slate wants to break free but Larha has control.
Larha fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ilpo Larha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Larha tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Slate smiles and moves away.
Slate takes a swing at Larha's ribcage but misses.
Slate throws a lazy right hand but Larha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Larha moves into the clinch.
Larha tries to pull guard but Slate holds him up against the cage and eventually Larha drops back down to his feet.
Larha tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Slate just stands there and leans against the cage.

Slate blocks an uppercut.
Larha fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Slate takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Larha jumps guard.

Slate stands and steps away. Larha gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Larha throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Larha keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Larha lands a right hook to the body.
Slate uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Larha.
Larha keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Slate.
Slate is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Slate keeps the fight on the outside.
Larha displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slate throws out the jab.
Slate fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Slate throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Larha stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Larha is breathing heavily.
Slate bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Larha's head.
Slate's corner calls for a 1-2. Slate obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Slate stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

It looks like Ilpo Larha has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Larha takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Slate misses with a looping left.
Nice jab there from Slate.
Slate lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Slate lands a hook that stumbles Larha back into the cage. Slate follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Larha to the canvas! Slate pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Larha has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
