Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovic kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rammstein - Sonne . Filipovic has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A decent looking cross lands there for Brooks.

It looks like Mirko Filipovic has been cut.

Brooks steps into range and cracks Filipovic with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Filipovic flops backwards and Brooks dives into his guard looking to finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brooks has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Filipovic is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Brooks yanks on the arm and Filipovic is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Brooks.
