Trendon has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Axel Trendon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trendon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Trendon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Thomas drops back looking for a leg! Trendon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Trendon manages to kick Thomas off! Thomas jumps back into Trendon's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thomas drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Trendon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Thomas has Trendon in his guard.

Thomas looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Trendon has picked Thomas up and slammed him! Thomas can't keep hold of the triangle and Trendon manages to pass to side control!

Trendon tries to roll over but Thomas keeps him under control.

Thomas seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Trendon is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
