Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Helio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dHEnZ mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a jab, cross combination.

Gracie shoots in and bounces mendoza off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Gracie trying to control but mendoza is working from the bottom.
mendoza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
mendoza lands a decent punch to the body there.
Gracie distracts mendoza with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed mendoza's guard.
Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks mendoza with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

mendoza wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.

mendoza is in a horrible position here. Gracie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and mendoza is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position!

mendoza is sitting in close to Gracie's body. Gracie has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! mendoza is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, mendoza is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gracie.
