Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hezekiah Munson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Njord Freyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munson comes into the arena with Showdown blaring out of the sound system. Freyr is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Twilight of the Thunder God. Njord Freyr has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hezekiah Munson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munson needs to keep his hands up - Freyr had a free shot at his head there.
Jab, jab by Freyr - just one landing.
Freyr catches Munson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Munson throws a leg kick which misses Freyr's front leg but catches the back leg as Freyr tries to avoid it.

It looks like Njord Freyr has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Munson feints and as Freyr raises his hands in defense, Munson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Munson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Freyr pinned against the cage. Freyr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Munson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Freyr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Munson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Munson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Freyr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
