Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brass Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knuckles comes to the cage accompanied by Rooster. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles thumps Still with a low kick.
Knuckles wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Knuckles throws the left hand but Still avoids the punch easily.

Knuckles throws a lazy right hand but Still sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Still shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Knuckles sprawls well. Knuckles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Still gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Still closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Still lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Still working the ground and pound.
Still trying to control the position but Knuckles is working away.
Still tries to move to mount but Knuckles blocks the move with his legs.
Knuckles avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Still.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Knuckles tries to bench press Still off him but Still keeps the position.

Knuckles lands with a thumping leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Still is defended easily by Knuckles.
Knuckles slaps away a takedown attempt from Still, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Knuckles displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Still throws out the jab.
Still fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knuckles manages to avoid it.
Knuckles connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Still's hands.

Still closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Knuckles is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Still has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Still tries to score with some ground and pound. Knuckles controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Still misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Still wants to lay and pray for a moment but Knuckles keeps working.
Still working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Still wants to free his trapped foot but Knuckles is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Still is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Knuckles still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Knuckles has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Still has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Knuckles will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
