Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Jefferies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Traps Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Traps Mcgee enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Jefferies!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Traps Mcgee!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgee looks to land a body kick but Jefferies moved away.
Mcgee is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A combination from Mcgee does no damage.
Mcgee throws a leg kick which misses Jefferies's front leg but catches the back leg as Jefferies tries to avoid it.
Jefferies tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcgee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jefferies misses with a right hand
and Mcgee counters with a nice body kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Mcgee finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Mcgee takes a swing at Jefferies's ribcage but misses.
Jefferies avoids a punch combination nicely.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mcgee.
Mcgee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mcgee throws a solid leg kick but Jefferies takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mcgee.
Jefferies fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mcgee throws a body punch but Jefferies moves out of range.
Mcgee throws a shot to the body.
A jab lands there for Mcgee.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mcgee cracks Jefferies with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mcgee misses with a wild combination.

Mcgee gets caught flat footed, as Jefferies shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jefferies is breathing heavily.
Mcgee throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Mcgee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jefferies gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mcgee is trying to control the position but Jefferies postures up.
Mcgee looking for a sweep. Not yet Mcgee, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mcgee has his foot on Jefferies's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jefferies works his way back into a safe position though.
Jefferies throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mcgee works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mcgee looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jefferies trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcgee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jefferies avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jefferies won't allow Mcgee to sweep him here.
Jefferies wants to get up but he can't break Mcgee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jefferies drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jefferies seems to have locked his on tight now - Mcgee screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jefferies, as he picks up the win!
