The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griswold slips a jab from Johnson.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Griswold, as that shot connected.
Griswold throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Griswold throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Jack Johnson has been cut.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Griswold is avoiding it.

Johnson darts in and clinches Griswold up against the cage.
Johnson fails to pull guard.
Johnson jumps guard but Griswold stands there with Johnson around his waist. Johnson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Clark Griswold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Johnson.
Griswold pushes off an throws an elbow but Johnson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Johnson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Griswold is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Johnson has Griswold pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Griswold manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Griswold's waist but Griswold gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.

Griswold fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Johnson is out of range.
A jab lands there for Griswold.

Johnson rushes Griswold and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Johnson tries for a takedown but Griswold manages to get underhooks.
Griswold creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Johnson's defenses.
Johnson goes for a takedown attempt but Griswold pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Griswold cracks the inside of Johnson's front leg.
Griswold feints a jab promting Johnson to slip. Griswold then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Johnson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Griswold lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Griswold clinches up with Johnson and pushes him back against the cage.

Griswold tries to land knees in the clinch but Johnson avoids the damage to the body.
Griswold lands a hook to the side of the head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Griswold creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

and Griswold counters with a good, hard body kick but Johnson shrugs it off.

Johnson is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Griswold just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! And now a right hook, right on the button! Johnson has gone limp, and this one is over!
