Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
nogard throws out a leg kick but Jacobson moves out of range and nogard only half commits.
nogard misses with the combination.
nogard misses with a series of wild punches.
nogard swats away the attempt to clinch by Jacobson.
nogard throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jacobson was covering up waiting for the punch and nogard finishes the takedown easily into guard.
nogard is pushing down on Jacobson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jacobson is fighting to maintain full guard but nogard has managed to sneak the leg through.

nogard is looking for a kimura but Jacobson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for nogard to get the leverage.
nogard seems to be working for a kimura but Jacobson defends the submission attempt.
nogard seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

nogard decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jacobson to his feet.
nogard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Cane nogard hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

nogard drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
nogard drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jacobson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now nogard has Jacobson in his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
nogard has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Cane nogard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

nogard goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Well nogard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
