Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Trevor Kunert!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kunert scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pain misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kunert takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Kunert shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Kunert is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pain has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pain is trying to get back to full guard.
Kunert wants to take a breather but Pain is having none of it.
Pain makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pain.
Kunert postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pain escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kunert gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kunert stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pain swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pain had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kunert defends it easily.

Kunert tries to free his leg and advance position but Pain is retaining full guard.

Pain is looking for a triangle but Kunert pushes his legs off easily.
Kunert really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pain looking to control.

Pain is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Pain is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Pain can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kunert is looking to escape.

Pain looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pain looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Pain dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Pain tries to bum rush Kunert with a series of wild strikes but Kunert uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kunert takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Trevor Kunert has been cut.
Kunert lands with a slapping head kick.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Pain has cracked Kunert with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Pain lands another huge swinging hook and Kunert tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Kunert, before Pain can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Max Pain!
