PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vitalij Kamozin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Lazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamozin comes to the cage accompanied by Kamasutra song. Lazar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Daddy Cool kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vitalij Kamozin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marko Lazar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamozin tries to clinch but Lazar moves out of range.

Kamozin has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kamozin tries to circle away but Lazar has him pinned against the cage.
Kamozin tries to score a body lock takedown but Lazar shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kamozin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lazar walks away with a smile on his face. Kamozin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lazar is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kamozin is defending well for now.

Lazar turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lazar manages to end up in side control.

Kamozin is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Kamozin has one of Lazar's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Kamozin parries the strikes from Lazar easily there. Lazar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kamozin to escape.
Kamozin is trying to control Lazar's posture but Lazar avoids it.

Lazar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kamozin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
You can see the frustration on Kamozin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Vitalij Kamozin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kamozin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lazar on the ground.

Marko Lazar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kamozin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
