Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Slinky McDougle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zagan Yehudiah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yehudiah throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Yehudiah throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Yehudiah throws a right hand that McDougle ducks under and follows up with a left that McDougle also avoids with ease.

Zagan Yehudiah has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Yehudiah wants to clinch but McDougle slips to the side
and McDougle counters with a nice low kick that buckles Yehudiah's knee momentarily.
A head kick misses from McDougle.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McDougle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Yehudiah - the referee stops the clock and McDougle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Yehudiah. McDougle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

McDougle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yehudiah's guard.
McDougle wants to pass the guard but Yehudiah is keeping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Slinky McDougle will probably get the nod.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Zagan Yehudiah wasn't active enough on the ground.
Yehudiah fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McDougle has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
McDougle steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Yehudiah. That one must have hurt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
