Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kronic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime tries to clinch but Kronic is having none of it.
Prime leaves Kronic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kronic fails to land with a series of punches.

Kronic looks to land a combination but Prime avoids it well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kronic. Prime does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Kronic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jack Kronic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Prime tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kronic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prime can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kronic cracks Prime with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Prime really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kronic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Prime wants to control but Kronic is having none of it.
Prime is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kronic moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Prime has worked his arm free - good work by Prime!

Kronic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Prime circles away quickly and effectively.

Prime throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kronic misses with a takedown attempt - Prime sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kronic sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Prime dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kronic. That did some damage!
