The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather misses with a few strikes there.
LaCroix tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Mayweather paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mayweather scores with a jab to the head.
Mayweather looks to land a combination but LaCroix avoids it well.

LaCroix throws out a leg kick but Mayweather moves out of range and LaCroix only half commits.
Mayweather lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mayweather throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mayweather throws a combination but it was largely blocked by LaCroix.
Mayweather tries to bum rush LaCroix with a series of wild strikes but LaCroix uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
