Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Glen DANZIG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DANZIG's entrance music is The Misfits-Where Eagles Dare. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DANZIG keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

DANZIG is working Dean over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

DANZIG has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

DANZIG drops back looking for a leg! Dean is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dean manages to kick DANZIG off! DANZIG jumps back into Dean's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Glen DANZIG will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dean lands a nice hook to DANZIG's body. DANZIG takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

DANZIG moves into the clinch.

Dean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dean, as that shot connected.
Dean throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jimmy Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DANZIG throws a hook but Dean avoids it easily.
Dean looks to throw the jab but DANZIG is out of range.
DANZIG swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
DANZIG displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dean throws out the jab.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dean got a little sloppy there for a moment and DANZIG has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dean has managed to get both his arms back between DANZIG's legs - danger averted.

Dean lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for DANZIG, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
