Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Sortsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Sortsen!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith wants to slow Sortsen down by chopping away at his legs.
Smith wants to land a leg kick but Sortsen is out of range.
Smith walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sortsen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A bone on bone clash there as Sortsen blocks the leg kick.

Sortsen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Smith napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Sortsen tries for a kimura but Smith is defending well.
Sortsen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Smith's legs.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Sortsen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smith has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sortsen advances to mount.
Smith on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smith tries to get out of the position.
Smith squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Sortsen is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Smith is forced to tap! Great finish!
