The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Putin.
Putin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on West. That did some damage!
West is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Putin is looking to slow West down with leg kicks.

That kick from Putin tenderised West's leg. West is trying to keep his angry face on.
Putin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Putin slows the pace down in half guard.
I looks like Putin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Putin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. West doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Putin.

Putin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but West sees it coming and defends easily.
Putin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Putin wants to take a breather but West is having none of it.
Putin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Putin is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! West is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
