The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Engels looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Engels shoots in for a takedown but Jakobz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jakobz misses the jab.
Engels moves in looking to clinch but Jakobz pushes him off.

Jakobz lands a big right hand that sends Engels crashing to the mat! Jakobz stays standing though and waves Engels back to his feet!

Engels is rocked!

It looks like Friedrich Engels has been cut.
Engels fails with an attempt to clinch.
Oh Engels is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jakobz throws the left hand but Engels avoids the punch easily.
Jakobz swings for the body but Engels moves out of range.
Jakobz slips a straight right by Engels.
Engels seems to have got his legs back now.
Jakobz dances in with a quick combination. Engels is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Jakobz snaps Engels's head back. Engels stumbles backwards against the ropes. Jakobz steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Engels's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Engels just didn't come prepared.
