Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Magonn Morguss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Morguss. No joy for Alexander on that attempt.
Alexander shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morguss as he avoids it easily.
Morguss fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alexander sprawls well initially but Morguss persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alexander is desperately trying to improve his position but Morguss has a good base and remains in mount.
