Bloggs closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Zacancer is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bloggs is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Zacancer has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bloggs thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bloggs wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zacancer, who protects the arm well.
Zacancer sneaks back into half guard.
Zacancer wants to improve his position but Bloggs is controlling well.

Bloggs wants to pass to mount but Zacancer is defending the position.
Bloggs is looking to take a break and control but Zacancer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bloggs is looking for a kimura but Zacancer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bloggs to get the leverage.
Bloggs trying to pass the guard but Zacancer defending well.
Bloggs works his foot free and advances to mount.
Zacancer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bloggs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
